  • Butterfly Booklet

    Designed By Maria Rodriguez

Use multiple edger punches to create elaborate designs for cards, tags, scrapbook pages and more.  This butterfly booklet is perfect for any to-do list. The 2-in-1 punches lets you punch two different designs in just one punch.

Directions:

1. Cut 6 or more sheets of paper to a desired size and fold in half to create a booklet. Cut a cover/back cover to the same size and fold.

2. Taking your folded cover sheet of paper - use setting #2 of your Striped Butterfly 2-in-1 Edger Punch to punch out one butterfly then switch punch to setting #1 and punch another butterfly right next to it alternating the designs so you have one solid and one that has the interior cut out. Do this the on the front and back cover edges..

3. Then set punch to setting #2, take an extra sheet of coordinating paper, and punch out a solid butterfly. Using the adhesive to adhere the solid single butterfly behind the cutout butterfly to create a multi-layered look.

4. Using the Scallop and Hearts 2-in-1 Edger Punch on setting #2, punch out a strip. Add it to the bottom of the cover.

5. Using the Real Estate Large Punch, take a piece of paper and punch once for a decorative notebook label you can then adhere on top of the cover band.

6. Add embellishments of your choice (see our Jolee's Boutique recommendation below)

7. Using the Heavy Duty Vertical Slot punch, punch 5 slots approximately 1/2" from the folded edge of the notebook and use a simple ribbon to bind - finish with a delicately tied bow.
